Salomon Ski Boots 26/27

Salomon launches the S/Pro Alpha C BOA. The series is aimed at skiers who want high performance but also a more compliant and modern feel in their boots. The models are available in several flex options for both men and women. What stands out is not just the BOA system on the cuff. The biggest change is on the inside.

New attachment provides better stability and balance

The major change is a completely new attachment. The pivot point has been moved downwards, which makes a big difference in how the boot behaves when you ski.

By lowering the pivot point, Salomon has constructed the boot with double layers of plastic on the inside. The result is better lateral stability and clearer edge balance. This is immediately noticeable when you ski and put heavy pressure on the edge.

BOA on the cuff provides better wrapping and power transmission

The boots have been built with BOA on the cuff. This allows the boot to wrap more evenly around the lower leg. Therefore, you get better contact between the leg and the boot. When you tighten the BOA system, you create a tighter wrap. This, in turn, provides better power transmission and more responsiveness in your skiing. If you tighten it a bit more, you also get a perceived stiffer flex and even better performance.

A common problem with boots that have cuff BOA is that they can be perceived as difficult to get in and out of. This has been solved with a completely new construction, providing easier entry.

Salomon S/Lab Shift² 16 MN

The Salomon S Lab Shift² 16 MN is a hybrid binding for freeriders who want maximum downhill performance while still being able to tour. Previously, the Shift series was available with DIN scales up to 10 and 13. Now, Salomon takes the next step with a completely uncompromising version with DIN up to 16.

The binding is built for aggressive skiing with high power transfer, a low profile, and reliable safety. The focus is on power, precision, and stability when the skiing gets tough. At the same time, it retains the flexibility required for efficient touring. Therefore, the Shift² 16 MN is perfect for freeriders who want to shred downhill after having earned their turns uphill.

Salomon QST

The QST series from Salomon is well-known among freeriders who want a reliable ski for varied riding. For the 26/27 season, the construction is the same, but the skis come in new colours. What's more, we've already got them in store!

QST skis are built to perform in many conditions. They handle piste skiing with good edge grip, while feeling stable and playful off-piste. This makes them just as suitable for full days in the resort as for days with mixed riding.

In store, we have received the QST 94, QST 100, QST 106 and QST X. This makes it easy to find the right width depending on how and where you ski most. Regardless of the model, you get the same basic feel that has made the QST series so popular over the years.
