Find the right type of snowboard
Choosing a snowboard is about finding the right balance between playfulness, stability, and control. Here are some of the most common types:

Park boards: Soft and flexible with a twin-tip shape for easy riding in both directions. Perfect for jumps, rails, and playful riding.

All-mountain boards: Built for the entire mountain. A slightly longer nose for better float in powder and stability at higher speeds.

Length and fit
A park board should generally be 15–25 cm shorter than your body height, while all-mountain models are often 15–20 cm shorter. Weight also plays a role – check the manufacturer's recommendation for each length.
