För Pinewood heter han Rainer, rätt och slätt.</b></p>
<p class="Preset-Primary-Text Preset-Primary-Font-Family Preset-Primary-Color">Och man kan säga att han startade sitt varumärke någonstans utmed väg 153 öster om Ullared, hösten 1994. Där satt han på en rastplats, i en rostig Opel Ascona från 83, och hade precis sålt sin första container med de blivande klassiker som skulle bli synonymt med hans företag: storrutiga kanadaskjortor.</p>
<p class="Preset-Primary-Text Preset-Primary-Font-Family Preset-Primary-Color">"Vill man ha något gjort, får man göra det själv" är ett citat som passar in på den småländska entreprenörsorten Gnosjö. Femtio meter från huset började storskogen, och där började också kojbyggen, upptäcktsfärder, scoutliv och det livslånga intresset för jakt samt friluftsliv. I Gnosjö kretsade livet också kring företagsamhet, och i unga år fick Rainer se sin pappa starta det ena läderföretaget efter det andra. Men en dag blev allt annorlunda.</p>

<p class="Preset-Primary-Text Preset-Primary-Font-Family Preset-Primary-Color">Föräldrarna delade på dig, och den 12-årige Rainer skeppades ensam till Taiwan av alla ställen, där han snabbt fick Hira sig att ta hand om sig själv i en av mångmiljonstaden Taipeis alla studentkorridorer. Utan att kunna ett ord av vad den nu var de pratade.</p>

Samtidigt finns många exempel på människor som klarat fantastiska saker redan i unga år. Mozart skrev operor, Jean d'Arc ledde en arme, Laura Dekker seglade ensam runt jorden och Nadia Comaneci vann OS-guld. Rainer började förstå kinesiska.</p>

Rainer började så småningom studera mandarin vid universitetet i Beijing. Här kryllade det av intressanta personligheter, och några av hans närmaste vänner kom från textilfamiljer. Därav kom en dag förslaget. Skulle han möjligtvis kunna ta med sig ett par containrar med fodrade flanellskjortor till Sverige, för att se om de gick att sälja där? Det kunde han. Och det gjorde han.</p>

Tallen är ett väldigt vanligt träd, är stark på egen hand, men bildar fina skogar. Den växer från norr till söder och har varit en resurs i tusen år. Dessutom blev den en snygg logotyp. Pinewood. Enkel. Internationell. Vanlig. Som Rainer.</p>

Men samtidigt som allt förändrats, har inget förändrats. Kanadaskjortan är kvar. Rainers inställning är samma. Lagkänslan och tron på kollektivet - som nu är 28 personer i Värnamo. Att finnas mitt i verkligheten är fortfarande det som inspirerar. Träffa folk varje dag som delar upplevelser f ån naturen runt hörnet. Hur gör man en jacka så enkel men ändå så genomtänkt och bra, att den alltid får vara den som följer med ut i skogen? Det är inte konstigare än så.</p>
