The Salomon Demo HPS - Wolle Nyvelt Fish 24/25 157 cm is a specially designed powder board for those who want maximum float, playful feel, and stable carving in deep snow. The shape was developed in collaboration with Wolle Nyvelt and is based on his extensive experience in shaping for freeride in big mountains.
The board has a distinct fish tail shape with 20 mm taper and a large, wide nose. This provides natural float in powder, keeping you on top of the snow without having to lean back. The Powder Camber profile combines camber between the feet for stable carving with significant rocker in the nose for extra buoyancy in deep snow.
The Quadratic sidecut makes turns smooth and responsive. It's easy to initiate turns, change direction, and maintain a consistent flow throughout the run. The Ghost Green Core consists of lightweight paulownia wood, offering low weight, good pop, and a more sustainable material choice.
The Popster construction enhances the wood's natural snap and provides extra power in turns. The medium-density fiberglass layers offer an even flex and lively feel. The Sintered EG base provides fast glide in everything from deep powder to wet spring snow and holds wax exceptionally well.
The All Mountain Edge Bevel provides stable edge grip where it's needed most, without the board feeling too aggressive. The ABS Wrapper with bamboo veneer reduces the amount of plastic while also providing more pop and durability.
