Atomic Icon RS 19The Atomic Icon RS 19 is a high-performance race binding developed for skiers competing at FIS and European Cup levels. It fills the gap between traditional FIS bindings and World Cup level. With a DIN range of 11 to 19, it suits skiers who demand maximum power transfer and precise control in SL, GS, and SG. Centralized Power Transfer positions the binding directly under the boot, providing better leverage and more efficient power transfer to the ski. This results in a more direct feel throughout the turn. Additionally, the Metal Race Pedal contributes to even greater precision as the boot rests directly against the AFD plate. The Atomic Icon RS 19 also features Elevated Brakes. These are located near the heel piece and allow for even more aggressive edge angles without the brake catching in the snow. The result is a cleaner feel through the turn and better control as speed increases. Automatic Toe Adaptation automatically adjusts the toe piece to alpine boots. This ensures the binding maintains correct release values even when the boots are worn. The steel and fiberglass-reinforced PA construction simultaneously provides the right balance between stability and durability. In summary, the Atomic Icon RS 19 is a race binding for skiers who want maximum precision and power in every turn. It is built to provide confidence when speed increases and margins become small. Choose the right brake width
The brake width must be as wide as, or wider than, the waist width of the ski. The waist width is usually part of the ski name, or you can find it under specifications as sidecut. It is the middle value — for example ”Sidecut: 133-110-124”, where 110 is the waist width of the ski. If you are unsure or pick the wrong brake width, we always check this before we ship the ski and correct it if needed.
Storleksguide Skidor
