The Armada The Beatnik LTD is Danimals' signature snowboard in its most exclusive version. This is the snowboard where it all began. The model is now being released as part of Armada's very first prototype series and is only available at a few selected retailers worldwide. Therefore, it combines riding pleasure with a clear collector's appeal and a strong connection to the origins of snowboarding.
Developed together with Danimals and based on a clear idea: a directional twin that can be ridden across the entire resort with a freestyle focus. The Armada The Beatnik LTD is made for creative riding, where side hits, rollers, berms, rope ollies, and top-to-bottom park riding are central. There are no narrow confines here. Instead, you get a board that encourages freedom and playfulness in all terrain.
The construction balances pop, stability, and durability. The Poplownia Core keeps the weight down and provides quick responsiveness. At the same time, Bamboosters add extra snap and energy without the flex feeling nervous. Biax Glass contributes to a softer torsional flex, making the snowboard predictable at both high speeds and presses. For extra durability in exposed zones, Titanal Impact Plates are used, which protect against repeated impacts in the park and on the piste.
The profile of the Armada The Beatnik LTD combines traditional camber with early rise in the nose and tail. This provides good edge grip and drive underfoot, but maintains a smooth and forgiving turn initiation. The directional shape, together with a centered stance and zero setback, provides a balanced feel in both directions, while maintaining stability as the pace increases.
A sintered base provides high speed and good durability for those who spend many days on snow. With a flex of 7 out of 10, the Beatnik LTD falls into the medium-stiff segment. It has enough backbone for aggressive riding, but is still easy to play with.
The graphics on the LTD version are based on personal illustrations from Danimals' father, complemented by subtle details from Josh. This gives the board a clear expression that reflects creativity and personal riding style.
