Hire-purchase for the juniors
When children and juniors are growing, a rent-to-own option is a really good alternative. You buy your equipment and then receive a guaranteed trade-in value valid for two years. For example, you can choose between new and used, as well as twintip or "regular" straight skis.
If you buy a used package, for example, it currently costs 1500 or 2000 SEK, depending on the equipment, the first time. You can then exchange ski boots for free for two years. The trade-in value of your package is then 800 and 1000 SEK, respectively. When you upgrade the entire package, it then costs 700 and 1000 SEK, respectively, at present.
If you want to buy a new package, we will put together a package according to your wishes. You then receive a guaranteed trade-in value for it. You get 500 SEK for the ski boot, and 30% of the price of the skis within two years.
When exchanging ski boots, you always exchange them for free for equivalent used ones, but can also choose to exchange them for new ones, at an additional cost.
How long are you considered a junior?
The junior package ends when the skis reach 140cm (twintip 149cm), which is the last junior length for skis. For boots, junior sizes are available up to size 42. After that, you can, of course, continue with a rent-to-own agreement, but you'll need to upgrade to an adult package. We don't have fixed prices here; instead, we put together packages based on needs and wishes. Generally, you can expect prices to start from SEK 2500 and go upwards.
Regardless of which package you choose, you always own your equipment; you merely have the option to trade it in for a specified value. This applies provided that the equipment has been subjected to normal wear and tear. You can trade in your equipment and, for example, use your credit for clothing, etc. However, you will never get money back when you return it.
All in all, it's a really good concept for children and juniors. You avoid selling on Blocket or having a lot of things standing around in the garage. We have many satisfied rent-to-own customers who can guarantee this.
Rent-to-own for adults
Can adults also rent-to-own? Absolutely! You can buy both new and used equipment. However, we do not have fixed prices for adult packages; you need to come to the store, and we will help you put together a package. Generally, you can expect prices to start from SEK 2500 and up. (SEK 2500 is for used equipment.)
If your feet have stopped growing, we always recommend investing in new ski boots, perhaps combined with used skis. As an adult, you usually buy a pair of boots that fit well, intending to keep them for several years. However, it can always be fun to change skis! So, as mentioned, the concept is also available for adults!
Snowboard package
You can also rent-to-own a snowboard, as both a junior and an adult. However, we do not have fixed prices on these packages, neither for juniors nor adults. Here, we assemble packages according to your wishes and our current stock.
Our selection of used snowboards is significantly smaller than that of skis, so it depends somewhat on availability. However, we always help to try and put together a package that suits you, but unfortunately, we can never guarantee that used equipment is in stock.
