Today, Leki is a global name and a leading manufacturer of poles, gloves, and protectors. But despite its size, the company is still family-owned, with the same passion and values as when it all began.

Leki has repeatedly changed the market with technical breakthroughs. Already in 1970, they launched their first ski poles under the name Leki – a combination of the founder family's name Lenhart and the town Kirchheim. In the 1990s, they revolutionized the industry with their Trigger system, where gloves and poles are connected for better safety and power transmission.
Today, Leki continues to be at the forefront with innovations such as folding poles for trail running, Makalu trekking poles for hiking, and advanced racing models for alpine skiing.
