Craftsmanship and innovation from Småland
All development and design still take place in Hestra, where the company was founded. The gloves are manufactured in their own factories, which allows them to control the entire production chain – from selection of leather and materials to stitching and final finishing. Many models are hand-sewn by experienced glove makers in Europe and Asia, guaranteeing a quality that few can match.

A history built on a passion for hands
It all began when Martin Magnusson started making durable gloves for the local lumberjacks in 1930s Hestra. As skiing grew in popularity and Isaberg became a destination for ski tourists – just a few kilometers from today's Roupéz Skidshop – he quickly realized the need for warm and durable gloves for skiers as well.
Sons Lars-Olof and Göte continued the family business with the same passion, and today it is the third and fourth generations of Magnussons who run the company. Hestra has grown into an international player selling over 2 million gloves annually in more than 30 countries – but its heart remains in the small village where it all began.
