Dynafit – lightness, innovation, and speed in the mountains
Dynafit was born in the mountains and has always focused on technical solutions that make it easier to move quickly and efficiently on snow. The journey began back in the fifties when Humanic manufactured ski boots that later became known as Dynafit. These were worn by legendary skiers like Franz Klammer and Leonhard Stock to great success.
Technology that changed everything
When Fritz Barthel attached metal pins to the toe piece of a binding in 1984, he changed the game forever. This became the basis for the pin binding, a construction that provided unmatched efficiency on uphill climbs.
Dynafit took the idea further and launched the Tourlite Tech in 1990. It was the first complete boot-binding solution based on Barthel's technology. The combination was extremely lightweight and made ski touring more accessible and enjoyable.
A complete supplier for mountain sports
After Dynafit became part of the Oberalp Group, they could fully focus on innovation. The snow leopard logo was launched in 2005 and quickly became a symbol of the brand's core essence.
Dynafit builds complete systems that work together, rather than developing products individually. This allows skiers to move safely and efficiently regardless of the conditions.
When they launched their first summer collection in 2012, they also became a year-round brand with equipment for everything from trail running to steep winter peaks.

Forward with sustainability and quality
Dynafit introduced its Lifetime Guarantee in 2023. It is a promise that their products will perform as well after ten years as on the first day. This reflects their focus on sustainability and long-term thinking.
The following year, they celebrated forty years of pin binding development and opened the Dynafit Speed Factory in Kiefersfelden. It is a modern base where future products take shape.
