With the dream of creating something of their own, they returned to Italy, and in 1974, they launched their first ski boots under the name Dalbello. Their goal was simple but ambitious: to manufacture ski boots that combine Italian craftsmanship with modern technology and superior fit.
From craftsmanship to world-leading technology
Dalbello quickly grew into one of the world's most innovative ski boot brands. During the 70s, they contributed to the transition from leather to plastic, setting a new standard for quality and comfort. In the 80s, they took their first steps into the racing world, where their high quality and precise fit quickly made them popular among elite skiers.
In the 90s, Dalbello broke through on the global market, especially in North America and the Alps. Their Carvex series became the first boot specifically designed for carving – a testament to their willingness to innovate and advance skiing.

Freeride, innovation, and iconic status
In the 2000s, Dalbello changed the perception of freeride skiing. Through their Rider Development Program (RDP), created in collaboration with ski legend Glen Plake, Dalbello began developing boots directly in cooperation with the world's best skiers. The result was models like Krypton and Lupo, loved by park skiers and freeriders alike for their unique combination of power, flexibility, and fit.
Dalbello still manufactures all its boots in Italy, with the same commitment to quality, design, and innovation as when it all began. Every detail is tested and adjusted to provide the perfect balance between performance and comfort.
