The story began when Norwegian biophysicist Jorgen Karlsen studied how a snowboard actually behaves in turns. The insights became the foundation for Triple Base Technology, a technology that gave Bataleon its own place in the snowboard world.

Triple Base Technology is based on a concave shape in the nose and tail with traditional camber in the middle. This results in a board that

Bataleon is growing with the same curiosity as in the beginning. The move of production to the Mothership factory in Austria gave them access to modern technology and the highest quality materials. When they later became part of the Nidecker Group, the opportunity to continue developing without losing their identity was strengthened.
