Bootfitting

As always, cheaper boots are made from simpler materials, making them harder to customize and resulting in poorer skiing characteristics. More expensive models use advanced plastics that provide a better feel, higher quality, and longer durability.

PP Plastic
Polypropylene (PP) is often used in cheaper ski boots. It is a simpler plastic that is harder to mold and customize, limiting bootfitting possibilities. It also offers less damping, meaning impacts from the ground are absorbed less effectively.

PU Plastic
